The Lone Star Allegro Club is a chapter of the Tiffin Motorhomes Allegro Club of Red Bay, Alabama. The Houston area Lone Allegro Club was established on February 9,2006 with the assistance of Jimmy Johnson from Tiffin headquarters in Red Bay, Alabama. Seven Tiffin owners met to discuss the organization of a Houston area club for owners of Tiffin products only. After a brief discussion, a new club was formed, guidelines and bylaws developed, and new officers elected.

Our club meets for our rallies on the 4th weekend of the month, except for June, July, and August. During the summer months we arrange to meet for lunch, have a mini rally, get together for a sock hop, or attend a minor league baseball game. Our members enjoy visiting special museums, local hot spots, or just hanging out by the rigs watching ball (of any sort) on the TV’s while having a snack and a beverage. Of course, there is always plenty of advice and help should there be any issues with your rig.

We set our travel guidelines within 250 miles radius from the center of Houston Texas. We stay at many of the campgrounds around the area including the Woodlands, Pearland, Kemah, Conroe and Galveston. We have recently branched out to Lake Charles, La, Victoria, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Marble Falls and the New Braunfels area. We are continually looking for new places to explore.

We currently have 36 rigs and several of these folks are full-timers and only make a rally or two a year. Our holiday rally in December is always a big hit and it is usually our best turnout. There is always Lots of fun, laughter, food, games, and holiday spirit. Our members bring white elephant gifts to share/steal and toys for the Toy and Tots program. It is always great catch up on what and where everyone has been doing over the past months.

Our club fee is $50.00 per rig per year. We offer a club flag for $15.00 for the members to display during a rally.  Several of our members display them where they travel and as amazed when they meet LSA travelers on their journey.  Rally sites are individually reserved by the members and site paid directly to the campground. Rally fees are $35.00 for an evening meal and Saturday morning breakfast both meals are determined by the Host Teams for the weekend. The fee is paid in advance to the club.  Being a small club, our host teams plan the food, agenda and outings according to the facilities offered at the campground and sites around the area.
